External Calling Line ID Delivery

    Use this menu item on the User - Incoming Calls page to

  • Turn External Calling Line ID Delivery On
  • Turn External Calling Line ID Delivery Off

The External Calling Line ID Delivery service allows you to view the caller identification of a caller from an external group.



Turn External Calling Line ID Delivery On

Use this procedure to activate External Calling Line ID Delivery.


Incoming Calls - External Calling Line ID Delivery
  1. On the User - Incoming Calls menu page click External Calling Line ID Delivery. The User - External Calling Line ID Delivery page displays.
  2. Click the "On" button.
  3. Save your changes. Click Apply or OK. Apply saves your changes. OK saves your changes and displays the previous page.
    To exit without saving, select another page or click Cancel to display the previous page.


Turn External Calling Line ID Delivery Off

Use this procedure to deactivate External Calling Line ID Delivery.


Incoming Calls - External Calling Line ID Delivery
  1. On the User - Incoming Calls menu page click External Calling Line ID Delivery. The User - External Calling Line ID Delivery page displays.
  2. Click the "Off" button.
  3. Save your changes. Click Apply or OK. Apply saves your changes. OK saves your changes and displays the previous page.
    To exit without saving, select another page or click Cancel to display the previous page.


Caller-ID for BOTH Internal and External Number

If caller is from an extension number within i-PhoneNet, the name(*) and the extension number of the caller is displayed on your Caller-ID phone or adjunct.

If the incoming call is from a PhoneNet user or from an external number (external call), only the calling number is displayed.

The word 'TRANSFER' would be displayed if that incoming call is a forwarded call from another extension.
