The Calling Line ID Blocking service allows you to block or display your calling line ID when you make a call.

Conceal Your Phone Number When You Make a Call

Use this procedure to block your line ID when you make a call. This service is used to block or reveal your phone number to people who have Caller ID (a feature that displays names and numbers) on their phones. Caller ID allows a person to see the name and phone number of the person who is calling. Please note that some people have their phones set up to refuse calls from "blocked numbers" - as with the Anonymous Rejection service. The Calling Line ID Blocking service can be changed as needed for placing sensitive phone calls and turned off for placing calls to parties with Anonymous Rejection or similar services. This service does not apply to calls from within the group.
